Our Philosophy
We aim to deliver quality construction for our Clients, built and managed to the highest standard. Having worked in the industry at Tier 1 Contractor Level and overseeing small, local Contractors for smaller developments, it is clear there is a requirement for Tier 1 management and planning to be brought to the local market which is why we differ from other Contractors in the market today

Director & Founder – Josh Stockwell
Having been involved with running my own Project Management business since 2015, working for both Tier 1 Contractors and overseeing smaller, local Contractors, it occurred to me that the level of service Clients were receiving at the lower project value end of the market was substandard and left something to be desired. It was then I realised there was an opening in the market for comprehensively trained Construction Professionals to lead a multi discipline Project Management and Construction Company which is why I founded Stockwell Developments Ltd.
Starting in the industry some 18 years ago on building sites, it was at age 19 I trained as a Quantity Surveyor for an international Tier 1 Main Contractor. I spent 7 years here and gained a BSC Honours Degree in Construction and Commercial Management.
Following the end of the Financial Crisis, activity in the Residential Market began to pick up sharply which is when I made my move to another Contractor which predominantly focused on large scale residential redevelopments of city blocks in London of around 100 units a development. It was here that I learnt the skills for high residential development.
After 2 years, I decided to try my hand at work overseas and re-located to Qatar to work on the preliminary infrastructure for the 2022 World Cup. Having spent around 6 months living and working in Doha, I realised working abroad away from family was not for me and returned in 2015.
Following my return, I set up my previous Project Management company where I procured and managed multi million pound Projects for central London Contractors from both a commercial and residential perspective. During this time I also ventured into the Client side QS role managing Contractors on behalf of the end Client / Employer. This change in role and experience gained gives me a unique understanding of both a Contractor and Client side operating procedures, wants and requirements throughout the life cycle of a Construction Project.
Over the past year there have been numerous smaller projects where I contracted small extensions and builds for residential Clients which has lead me to founding Stockwell Developments Ltd. in lacus donec pharetra.
